Background
The Royal Society's bi-monthly publication, Excellence in Science, required a design and structure refresh after it had become dated and not reader-friendly. The aim was to engage the current readership and extend circulation further beyond the traditional audience of Society fellows.
Result
Following a design review, a fresh new look and structure was developed to gain audience attention and provide easy navigation. Art direction also ensured more emphasis on strong and striking photography to visually-enhance the subject matter. The resulting publication has attracted more interest from a wider and more varied audience. An online version has also been developed to increase readership further. |
